Guest analysis: data handling and limits

Pasted text and supported text files are interpreted locally in your browser by the same deterministic requirement parser used in GENYS’s private RFQ workflow. This guest tool does not upload documents, call an AI model, or add your input to a public corpus.

What stays in this tab

One analysis, its original text, interpreted requirements and up to 100 edits are retained in session storage for 30 minutes from analysis. Expiration is checked while the tool is open and when guest state is read again. Closing the tab normally clears session storage; browser session restoration can preserve it until the expiry check. A duplicated tab may inherit a copy through the browser. Do not use a shared browser for confidential work. Clear guest analysis removes the active analysis, cached public searches and tab-local shortlists; exported files remain on your device.

Limits

One line item per analysis. TXT, MD and CSV files up to 64 KB; text up to 32,000 characters, lines up to 2,000 characters, and 40 individually extracted requirements. No PDF, Word, images, archives, OCR or drawing interpretation is accepted by this guest tool. Paste readable text instead. Extraction can miss requirements and does not prove completeness.

When data leaves the browser

Find suppliers is an explicit, reviewable action. Normalized requirements are sent to GENYS search; non-informational values form bounded queries of up to 240 characters to eligible source providers. All requirements remain in the evidence checklist even when they do not fit that retrieval query. Original RFQ text and extraction excerpts are not sent. Remove confidential values before searching. Search uses existing bounded retrieval and rate limits. Its public research cache lasts up to 10 minutes; shortlisted public evidence remains tab-local for 30 minutes after its last change, with up to four searches and four candidates per search. The analysis is not shared publicly.

Private continuation

Save this analysis requires authentication, an authorized business and explicit confirmation. It stores a user-submitted snapshot in that workspace. It does not turn interpretations into verified facts or create a canonical supplier. No RFQ is sent by this workflow.

Measurement

Workflow events are emitted only when analytics consent is enabled. Events contain an allowlisted action and optional count bucket, never document text, filenames, requirements, source URLs or company identity. Guest routes are excluded from shared page analytics.
